Kemimoto recently sent us a pair of their Kemimoto heated socks to test out and I ended up loving them. They fit great, nice and snug, were super comfortable, and kept my feet and calves warm out in the cold.

These socks will hit 149°F and the best part is that you can control the heat with your phone. The included app lets you adjust the heat up or down as well as monitor the battery levels, so you always know how much juice you have left.

The Kemimoto heated socks will make a huge difference in your outdoor fun. They will keep your toes warm and cozy when you are out snowmobiling, hunting, skiing, snowboarding, hiking,  or other outdoor activities.

They are also great for anyone who suffers from chronically cold feet. Keeping them on low while in the house is a great way to keep your feet nice and toasty and help with circulation.

Kemimoto makes various heated clothing, motorcycle, UTV, and ATV accessories. They are a well-respected brand in the industry. Kemimoto makes several different heated jackets, heated vests, heated gloves as well as heated pants, and other riding products.

What is in the box?

The Kemi Moto came boxed and very nicely packaged in a clear sealed pouch. It includes the following:

  • Kemimoto heated socks

  • 2 – 4000mAh Batteries and charger

  • User Guide

  • Free app download

The Specs

  • Battery/Power Bank: The Kemimoto heated socks come with two high-capacity 4000mAh Batteries and a charger. The batteries have LED lights that indicate the heat level as well as the battery life that is left. In most cases, you will control the heat levels and monitor battery life via the app, but you can adjust it on the battery as well.  The batteries also have a USC Type C port so the power bank can be used to charge your phone or other electronics.

The batteries heat up the socks very quickly which allows you to get outside and still stay warm. The battery packs are slim and fit into a pocket on the top of the sock. The battery fits in the pocket nicely and I never really felt the weight of them when I was walking around.

Kemimoto claims the batteries will keep the heat flowing for 8-10 hours on the lowest setting. I only used them on high or medium and usually got about 5-6 hours depending on the temps and how long I ran them high.

  • Apps: The Kemimoto heated socks come with an app that you can download from the Apple or Google Play store which allows you to control the socks with your phone. The app allows you to adjust the temp up or down as well as set a timer to turn them off.

The app worked great every time I used it, it was super handy as changing the temps using the control on the socks is not super easy. You must pull up your pant leg, unbutton the pocket, and then press the button. The app made it easy peasy.

  • Heat coverage: The heating element for KEMIMOTO heated socks uses wires that wrap 360 so the heating elements cover your whole foot, keeping you warm from toes to calves. I found the socks to be nice and warm and they kept my feet and calves warm when I was out.

  • Temperature Control: There are 4 heat levels with these socks which you can choose from on the app, or it can be adjusted by pressing a button on the battery.

If you are using the battery to adjust the heat, you simply press and hold the button on the battery to turn it on and you can then cycle through the four heating levels by short pressing the button again or adjusting it on the app.

Temps range from 104°F on low to 149°F on the highest setting. The red lights on top of the battery indicate the heat level while the green lights reflect the battery strength.

 â€‹â€‹

  • Washable: These socks are machine washable but as with most heated gear you should consider hand washing them most often. If you do machine wash them, be sure to use a laundry bag and air dry them, do not put in a dryer.

  • Super comfortable: These socks are super comfy and are made of high-quality cotton and spandex. They offer excellent breathability, which keeps your feet warm and dry.

Kemimoto Heated Socks Features

These are the first heated socks we have tested and while I had concerns that heated socks were going to be uncomfortable and maybe not worth the trouble, I was wrong. I found these socks to be super comfy and warm, they fit well and seem very well made.

My original concerns were around the wires that provide the heat. I worried I would be able to feel them when I was walking around, and I would find them uncomfortable. It turned out my fears were groundless, I never really noticed the wires when wearing them around the house or out in the woods.

If you are simply standing up on a wood floor and focusing on your feet, you can feel the wire, but they are super thin, and once you put on some slippers, shoes, or boots you no longer notice them.

I have not worn them with ski boots but will give them a try the next time I am skiing. My only concern is that I like a very thin ski sock and these socks are thinner than my current ski socks.

Here is a quick breakdown of the features I loved about the Kemimoto Heated Socks:

  • Look and materials: The socks are extremely comfortable, I often wore them even with the heat off as I loved the feel. They are made from high-quality cotton and spandex and offer excellent breathability they kept me warm and dry out in the cold and wet. The elastic gives them a snug feel which is comfy and helps keep the heat next to your feet.

  •  Power banks: The Kemimoto heated socks come with two high-capacity 4000mAh Batteries and a charger. They fit nicely in a pocket on top of the socks. The socks heat up quickly and the batteries can keep the heat going for up to 10 hours on the lowest setting.

The heat level of the socks and the life left in the battery are indicated by red and green lights on top of the power banks. The red lights indicate the heat level you have chosen while the green lights indicate how much battery life is left in each power bank.

The power banks also have a USB Type-C port that can be used to charge smartphones and other mobile devices which is always handy, however with heated socks it’s much harder to use the power bank to charge a phone while you wear them.

Once the battery is plugged into the socks simply press the button to power them up. Adjusting the heat up or down is just as easy, all you have to do is press the button on the power bank again. Four green lights indicate 100% charged, 75%, 50%, and finally, 25% so you always know how much battery is left.

  • App control: The app made the socks very easy to control and it was always clear how much battery I had left in the socks. You can control each sock

  • Machine washable: While these heated pants can technically be machine washed, as with most heated gear, it is best to hand wash them. However, if you need to machine wash it be sure to use a laundry bag and wash it on gentle in cold water. Do not iron, dry clean, or use bleach, it should be line-dried.

How do the Kemimoto Heated Socks Perform?

Fantastic is the short answer. I wasn’t sure I would like heated socks, I had my doubts about the fit, the wires, and the battery. I am shocked by how much I ended up liking these socks, they were super comfortable and kept my feet nice and warm, I barely noticed the wires or battery.

I wore these socks walking out to the mailbox which is about 2.5 miles roundtrip and temps were in the teens. My feet and calves were warm and comfortable the entire time. I have also shoveled a bit of snow, spent some time plowing, and just walked around in the house, and in all conditions, I have been pleasantly surprised about how well these socks work.

The app is a game changer, and I would advise against buying any heated socks that don’t have this feature as pulling up your pant leg to change the temperature would quickly get old, I believe.

The app made changing the temp easy and I could easily check the state of the battery from my phone. I often adjusted the temp downward when the battery dropped a bit so being able to use my phone to make adjustments was fantastic.

These heated socks are extremely comfortable, the cotton and spandex kept my feet warm and dry, and the heat was almost a bonus. They fit well, they fit tightly but not too tight if that makes sense, I ended up wearing them around the house more than I would have imagined because I like the way they fit.

While the wires were never an issue for me, I don’t want to give the impression that you cannot feel them at all. They are super thin but if they get situated in the wrong spot, you can feel them. I found if they ever to stuck in place that I felt, I just moved them around a bit and I stopped noticing them again.

These socks were not too thick for everyday use, and I found they fit well in all of my shoes as well as snow boots. I do have concerns that they will be too thick for my ski boots but again, I like a very thin ski sock so they may work just fine for other skiers. I imagine they would be great for snowmobiling, hunting, snowboarding, and other outdoor sports.

As for the heat, it was great. It kept my feet warm when the weather dropped into the teens. You can feel the heat on your entire foot and up your calf. They never got hot enough to be uncomfortable, but they kept my feet and calves from getting cold out in the weather.

As with all heated gear, be sure to check the size guide and measure carefully to ensure you order the correct size.

Kemimoto offers the original purchaser of our product is covered by a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects. If there are any issues with the heated socks, Kemimoto offers plenty of ways to get in touch with them. You can contact customer service by chatting online, emailing, or via a phone number.

The battery life is roughly what they claim. I wore them most of the day on low at home and they still had a bit of charge left. When you crank it up to high I would expect to be out of juice in about 3-4 hours.

I loved these heated socks, the heat, fit, and comfort were fantastic, and I ended up using them much more than I would have imagined. They kept my feet from getting cold even when the weather dropped into the teens.

The Bottom Line

The Kemimoto heated socks were excellent, and I wore (and will continue to wear) them more than I would have imagined. I am very happy to recommend these heated socks, they fit great, are super comfy, and will keep your feet warm even in cold conditions.

The app takes these heated socks to the next level. It worked great and made controlling the heat super easy. It was also a great way to keep an eye on the battery strength and adjust the heat accordingly.

I am happy to wholeheartedly recommend these heated socks. You will love the fit, as well as how comfortable they are, the heat works great and will keep your toes nice and toasty out in the cold. The app makes using them very easy and allows you to adjust the heat from your phone.

I can't think of anything I would change about these heated socks at this point. I like the fit, comfort and the heat. They are great for all kinds of outdoor activities, including snowmobiling, snowboarding, skiing, hunting, hiking and more.

These heated socks also work great in the house, particularly if you suffer from cold feet, Raynaud's phenomenon or any other condition that makes your feet cold, heated socks can help provide some relief.

These heated socks make a great gift for yourself, friends, or family. They are affordable, look, feel, and work great so give your feet a treat with some heated socks.
