This is one of the best heated hats out there. It has a unique look, a super comfy lining and can really crank up the heat. Autocastle is a well-established brand and this three-layer heated hat is one of their best sellers. It is wind resistant and can push the heat up to 115°F. You will not regret slipping this thing on before heading out into the cold.
The Autocastle Heated Beanie is made from 100% thick cotton acrylic fabric with a fleece lining. It has two heat zones powered by a 7.4V 2200 mAh Li-po battery which allows it to heat the hat for 3-4 hours on high, 4-5 hours on medium and up to 7 hours on the low setting.
On the lowest setting the hat will crank up the heat to 86°F, medium will get you to 102°F and when it gets really cold, push it up to 115°F on high. It can take up to 7 hours to fully charge the battery. This hat is very well reviewed, everyone loved the look, fit and the heat it produced. The only complaints revolved around the fact that you have to use the included wall charger, it is not USB compatible and some people find that the battery moved around a bit but this issue was easily managed. The Autocastle heated beanie is not machine washable and should be hand washed.
Gobi Heated Beanie
This hat is by far the most expensive one on our list but is worth a look if you can afford it. Gobi is one of the most respected heated apparel makers out there, they are 100% female owned and have been making heated clothing since 2016.
The Summit Heated Beanie is the men’s version while the women’s is called the Crest. Both are made from a super comfortable cotton/acrylic blend and use steel fiber heating technology to deliver the heat to your head. There are two heat zones, located over each ear which are powered by a 7.4 volt, 2200 mAh lithium-ion battery.
The Summit Beanie can hit 113°F on low, 131°F on medium and a scorching 140°F on high and will keep your head warm for 3.5 hours on high, 5.5 hours on medium and 7.5 hours on the lowest setting.
The Gobi can be machine washed and dried and comes with a one-year warranty. All in all, this heated hat is an excellent, albeit expensive choice. It gets great reviews for its looks and the heat it produces. The only real complaints were a couple of defective batteries, but those issues were resolved. However, this hat is almost double the cost of most of the competition which may make some of the other choices more attractive.
Rabbitroom Heated Beanie
The Rabbitroom heated beanie tends to run a bit large so if your melon is a bit oversized, this may be the best choice for you. In addition, it hasn’t received a single negative review.
It is made from 100% acrylic outer & polyester inner fabric for a comfy fit and a 7.4V 2200mah Lion Rechargeable Battery heats up the dual heat zones. It will heat up to 112°F on high so it’s not the toastiest hat we tested but it does the job. It hits 102°F on medium and 86°F on low. The battery will last for 3.5 hours on high and up to 7 hours on low so you should have plenty of heat.
Overall, the Rabbitroom gets great reviews, everyone loved its look and fit as well as the heat it produces. There were zero negative reviews so if you are looking for one of the best heated hats out there, this one may be for you. Keep in mind that it does run a bit large so you have a smaller head you may want to go with a different brand.
SVPRO Heated Beanie
The SVPRO heated beanie is a great choice if you are looking for a light-duty heated hat. Even on the high setting it can only hit 112°F so if you spend a ton of time out in the freezing cold this may not be the best choice. However, if you mainly need a heated hat for mild days or short excursions, this beanie could be the winner. The SVPRO has a classic look that made it one of the favorites of reviewers. It is also one of the most comfortable, made from premium soft fleece that is soft, quick drying and breathable.
This hat is pretty warm even with the heat turned off, but when the temperature dips, this heated beanie is equipped with 7.4V 2200mAh large capacity Li-Polymer battery that can put out heat for 7 hours on low. On medium it will last 4-5 hours and 3-4 hours on high. One of the best features is the fast-charging battery, it only takes 2-4 hours to fully charge the battery.
Overall, this hat gets great reviews, with only a few complaints about it being a little on the small side. Many people said they were using it to combat headaches so if you suffer from migraines or even the occasional head thumper, this beanie (or any heated hat for that matter) may be able to help.
Sun Will Heated Beanie
This is one our favorite heated hats, it looks great, is extremely comfortable and produces excellent heat. Sun Will is a well respected brand that makes a wide variety of heated apparel, ranging from socks to hoodies to this hat.
The Sun Will Beanie is made from cotton and polyester which makes it soft, breathable, and quick drying. It uses infrared fiber heating elements located over each ear to provide a nice even heat which will keep your head warm and toasty.
The UL/CE certified 7.4V 2200mAh battery will keep the heat flowing for 8 hours on low (113°F), 5 hours on medium (122°F) and 3-4 on high (131°F). This beanie gets great reviews, it produces a ton of heat and is very comfortable. There have been a few complaints about a tight fit for those with larger heads so if your head is a bit on the big size you may want to choose another brand. Other users wish it came with a USB port for charging instead of having to be plugged into a wall socket. Overall, this beanie is a fantastic choice to keep your dome warm out in the cold.
